Advanced Master in Nuclear engineering
Overview
The objective of ENSTA ParisTech Advanced Master in Nuclear Engineering is to enable students to acquire the high level skills needed to design and run electro-nuclear power stations, including the enforcement of legal prescriptions and regulations relating to the plants safety. The courses offer complete coverage of all fields of current interest in nuclear energy, and close links with industry (EDF, AREVA) and research (CEA). The Advanced Master is run by a consortium of several engineering schools of ParisTech (ENSTA ParisTech, Chime ParisTech, Mines ParisTech).
Two majors are offered :
- Fuel cycle
- Nuclear plant design
The courses provide a preparation for research or for entering employment in a large industrial group. Graduates will be able to perform a broad-spectrum analysis of a multidisciplinary problem, think of innovative solutions and successfully implement the chosen solution. Graduates will be able to become project manager, service manager or factory manager.

Pre-requisites
French or foreign candidates holding a degree:
- Bac + 5 engineer, DEA or DESS, MSc degree... or equivalent.
- Bac + 4 graduate with at least 3 years of professional experience.
Cost of training
The cost includes participation in the courses, documentation, use of computers and company visits (travel costs included):
- Individual price: 5,300 Euros. The individual price applies to persons who have just completed an initial training cycle and are not yet employed, and to persons able to prove that they are seeking employment.
Company and self-employed price: 10,600 Euros.
